Spell Catcher Pre-Release Downloads
The items that can be downloaded here are being provided to all that want or need them, with the understanding that they are pre-release versions. They are being made available because they address relatively serious bugs that exist in the current release versions of our software that we'd rather you didn't have to put up with. Generally, these will be stable builds, but it's always a possibility that fixing one bug might introduce another.
If you run into what you think is a new problem that didn't exist in a previous version of the software, please send a detailed report to our beta e-mail address. Make sure to include:
- The Spell Catcher product you are using.
- The actual pre-release software item you experienced the problem with (name, version).
- The application(s) you were using Spell Catcher with at the time.
- Any crash logs or other relevant information.
- Complete steps to reproduce the problem. Include every keystroke and mouse click if the problem can't be easily reproduced 100 percent of the time.
- The Operating System, its version, and the hardware you are using.

How to determine the version of the Spell Catcher X input method component you are using (for bug reports)
- In the Spell Catcher application, choose About Spell Catcher from the Spell Catcher menu.
- Above the Copyright notice, you will see a line of text stating the version and (if applicable) the build number of the Spell Catcher.component that is installed.
Detailed installation instructions are included on the disk image you download.

Nov 23, 2006: Spell Catcher X 10.2.3 has been released. All of the fixes from this Input Method Tuner (and much more!) have been incorporated into Spell Catcher X 10.2.3. We strongly recommend that you update your installation to Spell Catcher X 10.2.3 instead of using this Input Method Tuner with Spell Catcher X 10.2.2. Visit our Downloads page for more information.

Problems addressed in this version
- Fixed a crash that can occur if you start typing immediately after choosing Spell Catcher from the input menu if the Spell Catcher application is not already open at that time (i.e. the input method needs to launch the Spell Catcher app, and you start typing before the app finishes launching).
