You are welcome to download additional languages to use with Spell Catcher. For those that downloaded the U.S. English-only Spell Catcher Plus or Spell Catcher X Installers, additional languages can be downloaded here. If you are using Spell Catcher X 10.1 or later, you can also use the Get Updates and Languages command available in the Spell Catcher menu to download languages directly.

Five additional languages are available at an additional cost of $10 USD - Canadian English, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. Visit our online store at Kagi to purchase these languages.

These languages require Spell Catcher X version 10.1 or later, or Spell Catcher Plus version 2.5 or later.

Canadian English requires Spell Catcher X version 10.1.1 or later, or Spell Catcher Plus version 2.5.2 or later.

Spell Catcher X 10.2 Languages

These languages require Spell Catcher X version 10.2 or later. Languages for version 10.1.x can be found further down on this page.

To add a language to Spell Catcher X, simply download it by clicking a link to the right. Most browsers will automatically open disk image files after the download is complete. If your browser doesn't, locate the file and double-click it. You will see a document named "How to install". Open that document and follow the instructions. It's as simple as copying a file to a specific folder on your hard disk.

These languages can be also be downloaded directly from within the Spell Catcher X application by choosing the Get Updates and Languages command from the Spell Catcher menu.

If your copy of Spell Catcher X 10.2 is licensed, you can download all 8 additional languages at once - look for an item named "All Standard Language Plug-Ins" in the Updates and Languages window. Only a single language may be downloaded at a time when running Spell Catcher X in trial mode, and only one language in addition to U.S. English will be used (even if more are installed) until you purchase a license.

Spell Catcher Plus 2.5 & 3.0 Languages

These languages require Spell Catcher Plus version 2.5 or later.

To add a language to Spell Catcher Plus, simply download it by clicking a link to the right, then run the language installer after the download is complete.

Note: If you are going to install the British English Additional references, you must also install the British English references.

These languages require Spell Catcher X version 10.1.x - they are not for use with Spell Catcher X 10.2.
